The Agent API manages Units and their configuration. Use the Inference API to send messages to a Unit and receive generated responses.

APIs at a glance

All paths are versioned under /v1. Always send your credential in the Authorization header as a bearer token: Authorization: Bearer <SECRET_KEY>.

Agent API

Base URL: https://api.reilabs.org/v1 Use the Agent API to create or configure Units. The endpoint determines which credential authorizes the call.

Account & Unit Management

Use your Account API Key for operations that create or change agents on your account.

Agent Operations

Use the agent’s Unit API Key to read its details or update its tools.

Inference API

Base URL: https://rei-api.reilabs.org/v1 Send messages to a configured agent through the Inference API. Authenticate with that agent’s Unit API Key.

Authentication

Choose the credential required by the endpoint:

Account API Key

The Account API Key authorizes account management operations.

Unit API Key

The Unit API Key authorizes operations for its agent.

Make your first request

Once you have a Unit API Key, call the Inference API to run a chat completion:
